Protective intelligence for professional athletes.

High-profile athletes can receive thousands of messages, mentions, threats, approaches, and unwanted interactions. Most represent noise. Some warrant attention. A very small number may represent genuine risk.

Greywing provides the intelligence capability required to tell the difference.

From volume to intelligence

Incidents are captured from the channels agreed with the player, club, or agency: reported messages, direct contact, approaches at training grounds and events, correspondence, and referrals from player care.

Each is logged, triaged, and connected to what is already known. Where further understanding is required, it is investigated. Where it warrants an analytical judgement, it is assessed. Where it warrants attention over time, it is monitored. Where it warrants action, it is escalated with the supporting chronology.

Threats do not always arrive fully formed

Fixation rarely announces itself. It develops: admiration becomes entitlement, entitlement becomes grievance, and grievance becomes contact. That development can run across months or years, across multiple accounts and platforms, and through periods of apparent silence.

Without continuity, each contact is read as a first contact. With continuity, the trajectory is visible.

Persons of interest

Structured records are maintained for individuals and accounts warranting continued attention: chronology, language, stated grievance, claimed proximity, observed behaviour, and change over time. Records are reviewed rather than left to accumulate.

Network analysis

Potential relationships between accounts, individuals, incidents, groups, locations, and previous activity are examined and presented with appropriate caution. A similarity is a lead, not an identification. Attribution is expressed only to the level the evidence supports.

Protecting more than the player

Hostile attention frequently moves to partners, parents, siblings, and children, particularly during periods of scrutiny. Where appropriate and authorised, family members are included within the intelligence picture.

Working with existing security

We work alongside club security, agents, player-care teams, executive protection providers, legal advisers, platforms, and, where necessary, law enforcement. Intelligence is prepared so that those teams can act on it. We do not replace them.

Matchday, travel, and the calendar

Fixtures, transfers, tournaments, international duty, and commercial appearances all change exposure. Intelligence support can be aligned to the calendar rather than delivered generically.
