When standard due diligence is not enough.

Standard screening answers standard questions. Enhanced due diligence is for decisions where the standard answer does not resolve the uncertainty that matters.

Greywing conducts an intelligence-led examination of companies, principals, relationships, corporate histories, and claims, and sets out what the evidence supports.

What is examined

  • Corporate structures, ownership, and control, including where control is not obvious from filings
  • Principals, directors, beneficial owners, and their corporate histories
  • Public records and adverse information
  • Regulatory matters and, where lawfully accessible, litigation
  • Sanctions, insolvencies, and enforcement history
  • Reputational and integrity concerns, assessed rather than repeated
  • Material claims made by the subject, tested where they can be tested

An assessment, not a database search

Findings are analysed, corroborated where possible, and graded. We state what is established, what is reported, what is inferred, and what could not be determined. Intelligence gaps are recorded explicitly.

Proportionate and lawful

Research is limited to information that can be obtained lawfully and proportionately for a defined requirement. We do not claim access to confidential government, law-enforcement, or restricted databases.
